The Interfaith Council of Rossmoor presents the Big Questions Forum with Kermit Anderson, representing Urantia, and Nazeer Ahmed, representing Sufism. Anderson worked in the field of medical genetics with Kaiser for 30 years and has been a student of "The Urantia Book" since 1969. Anderson and his wife hosted an Urantia Book study group for 40 years in their Southern California home and were active members in the First Urantia Society of Los Angeles, which was renamed The Urantia Book Los Angeles Society (UBLA). Ahmed is a distinguished NASA scientist, inventor, author, legislator, and community servant. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University, MS and AeE degrees from Caltech, an MBA from Rider, and BE from University of Mysore in India. Ahmed was a chief engineer on the Hubble Space Telescope, holds 12 U.S. patents and is the author of several books including an "Encyclopedia of Islamic History," and has translated the Quran into American English. Both speakers share from their perspective of spirituality and/or religion to answer the big question: "How Do We Find Truth in Chaotic and Divisive Times?"
